Welcome to CDR

CDR is at the forefront of promoting empowerment and self-reliance for persons with disabilities. CDR’s programs and activities result in greater self-sufficiency for individuals and offer savings to the state and the taxpayer by eliminating the need for many expensive services.

Recently CDR hosted its annual Wheel-A-Thon fundraiser at Savin Rock in West Haven. We had nearly 200 participants including residents and employees of local businesses across the region.

If you have an inquiry about CDR, Wheel-a-thon, or the Americans with Disabilities Act, you may use this interactive Ask The ADA Person feature.

The 2009 CDR Wheel-A-Thon helps make a huge difference in the community. Last year's Wheel-A-Thon proceeds helped support Connecticut Kids as Self Advocates, scholarships for two local college-bound youth with disabilities; the CT Jammers Wheelchair Rugby team, and CDR’s youth transition services.
